Suhr SL67 50 Watt Tube Amplifier All Suhr cabinets and amplifiers are handmade in the USA! This is a premium boutique company. The Suhr SL67 amplifier is an uncompromising, hand-wired tube amplifier designed to provide the full spectrum of classic British-style amplifier tones at any volume. The SL series reacts dynamically to every nuance of your playing style and instrument, by turning your guitar's volume knob - from sparkling transparent clean to snarling Variac™* style overdrive. The amplifier sounds great when paired with a Suhr 1x12 Speaker Cabinet as well as other Suhr cabinets. Each SL67 amplifier features four inputs (for normal and high sensitivity), a low/high power switch, a master volume control (located on the rear panel), and is built with EL-34 power tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes. SINGLE CHANNEL WITH 4 INPUTS CHANNEL I INPUT Top: has high sensitivity and sounds brighter than Channel II. CHANNEL I INPUT Low: has low sensitivity and offers a slightly warmer tone. CHANNEL II INPUT Top: has high sensitivity and provides a normal/deeper tone. CHANNEL II INPUT Low: has low sensitivity and a normal/deeper tone. MASTER VOLUME CONTROL Suhr SL67 amplifiers are equipped with a post-phase inverter master volume control. This type of volume control is very effective for transparently controlling the amplifier's output. When the control is at 10, it is completely transparent and not in the circuit. Start turning the volume down, and the amplifier volume can be reduced to a whisper level.
