Gibson Flying V '67 The classic Gibson Flying V is the '67 Reissue model, made exactly in the version in which they hit the market back in 1967. This is not a "faded" model and not a budget series, but the classic Gibson Flying V '67 in black gloss lacquer. The instrument is in completely original factory configuration and in wonderful condition - as clearly visible in the photos. A very characteristic instrument, a solid mahogany body, mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard, bright attack and thick sustain, original Gibson 496R and 500T pickups are quite aggressive in sound, but also sound excellent at a medium gain level when you need the sound of classic rock, and of course, everything modern sounds great on high gain.
