In general, externally the guitar is to me an ideal, especially for this model - the maple top figure can be called a 10 top, which a good half of some higher-class models would envy, and of course the color, which transitions from blue to black and has a blue rim (binding) on the top, in the color of the top itself - it looks very beautiful, elegant and fresh. Now, for those who are not in the know, about the model itself... This is one of the first PRS series - CE (Classic Electric) - it was available since 1988 and was produced until the mid-2000s, but later its production was discontinued (at that time they had half-moons in 95% of cases). In 2016, at the NAMM show, it was brought back, presented in a new light. Now it does not have 22 and 24 options, now only 24 frets and tremolo, however, the guitar is equipped with the same pickups as the PRS Custom 24 (85/15), which costs 2 times more, the wood is essentially the same, but the neck is maple, the rest is the same: rosewood fretboard, mahogany body with a maple top, but the neck joint is bolt-on and it is a thin Pattern Thin, and the electronics are standard, as on customs - volume, push-pull on the tone for coil tapping and a 3-way switch. Considering the price tag for a new guitar, it is simply ideal in this segment, slightly more expensive than an S2, but already a true American with birds.
