John Suhr worked at the Fender Custom Shop for many years, left and opened his own small custom shop factory to produce guitars that sound even better than Custom Shop Fender. The Classic S model is equipped with a new 60’s C vintage standard neck profile from the 60s with an Indian rosewood or maple fretboard and V60LP single-coil pickups. The Classic S retains the traditional characteristics of the Classic Pro, including the SSCII noise-canceling system and stainless steel frets. Proprietary Suhr locking tuners and a Gotoh 510 tremolo provide excellent tuning stability. Since 2018, the very popular Vintage Yellow color has been added, a new finish option for the Classic S.
