The Gibson Les Paul Classic combines a Les Paul model in the style of the early 60s with some functional and time-tested modifications. As expected, the LP Classic has a mahogany body and a maple top combined with a slim taper mahogany neck and a rosewood fretboard. The open-coil zebra BurstBucker 61R and 61T pickups deliver classic Gibson tones from that era with a bit of extra power thanks to the open coils. The control block includes 4 push-pull potentiometers that provide coil splitting, phase switching, and pure bypass for functional and versatile sound variety.
