I made this choice because I believe an ebony fretboard would only enhance the metal sound, and what I needed here was the velvetiness and slight softness provided by Brazilian rosewood. My expectations were met, and the guitar indeed has a slight velvet tinge in the overtones even with high gain. Also, the guitar itself is quite versatile. It is worth noting the main options on the guitar, thanks to which its street price in the USA = $5400, and the MSRP price goes far beyond the 7.5k mark.
