It is no secret to anyone that the Holy Grail among Gibson guitars is the 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard, which have been and are still played by our idols Jimmy Page, Slash, Joe Perry, Keith Richards, Gary Moore, Mark Knopfler, Billy Gibbons, Bonamassa, Ace Frehley, Joe Walsh, ... and dozens of other famous guitarists and collectors. Capitalizing on the hype and the desire to repeat past achievements, the Gibson company decided to make the first reissue of the '59 guitar - this is how the Gibson Les Paul Heritage Series was born. In total, about 3000 copies of the series were produced from 1980 to 1982, the series included three types of models - Standard, Elite and Award. Standards had a three-piece mahogany neck, Elites - one-piece, Standard - plain top, Elite - quilted top, the Standard had a rosewood fretboard, the Elite - ebony, Award models were made only for dealers in a quantity of 50 pieces, differed from the Elite series only by gold-plated hardware and a neck plate on the back of the neck near the serial number, they were made to reward stores that sold the Heritage series. The same guitar is in the collection and use of Phil Collins, and was also one of the guitars of Les Paul himself. Tim Shaw звукосниматели - наиболее вкусные гибсоновсие звучки всех времен, я думаю о них не стоит ничего писать, это золотая эра звука гибсон. Гитара является нечто средним между 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard и 1968 Gibson Les Paul Custom в силу своих спецификаций, является уникальным произведением искусства, ее звук неповторим, я не слышал Gibson лучше чем этот пока еще. Такая же гитара находится в коллекции и использовании у Фила Коллинза (Phil Collins), а также была одной из гитар самого Лес Пола. Гитара в отличном состоянии, если придраться можно найти легкие отметинки, но на свои почти 40 лет - гитара в ахринительном состоянии, со всем родным, даже с родным кейсом. Гитара тут будет интересна как раз не только коллекционерам но и артистам и активным гитарплеерам, тк. она звучит превосходно в любой аппарат и выглядит просто на миллион баксов.
