I cannot write about this guitar objectively, for a simple reason - I adore rosewood necks, I have two PRS guitars with rosewood necks and one of them is a Private Stock. I would have kept the Tele for myself, but for now I don't really need it. A rosewood neck is made of dense wood, so it is not particularly affected by changes in humidity, temperature... it holds tuning better than mahogany and maple, it lies in the hand more comfortably and pleasantly, because you are holding a piece of wood without lacquer, only lubricated with a special oil at the production stage; they have more sustain and an open sound, more mids and velvety lows, while retaining the 'glassy' quality on the single-coils... in general, there are simply no downsides to a rosewood neck. And when I found out about the limited edition Fender Rosewood - of course I immediately grabbed one guitar in stock for myself and haven't regretted it for a single bit. A very high-quality instrument, and this is already an American one, yes it doesn't have super-expensive locking tuners, but it holds tuning quite well without them, and the deciding factor was that the neck is all rosewood, it is an American Tele, it has some of the best Fender pickups, an improved streamlined Tele shape and a gorgeous color - mint Surf Green - most beautiful, it is this color that I associate most with Fender Teles. The guitar has a juicy low end, a cutting midrange and 'glass', no noise, everything is in tune, the electronics work like a clock... and the guitar itself is new and it is pleasant to both play it and just look at it.
