2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard Raw Power The Les Paul Standard in natural finish is a rather rare specimen. Raw Power, in translation, means 'unbridled power', 'untamed strength' or something similar; it refers, of course, to the fact that the wood is kept in its almost pristine, naked state, in a natural color with only a thin, transparent layer of nitrocellulose lacquer. And this is felt in the sound - the wood 'breathes' and resonates freely. In my personal opinion, this finish allows the wood to open up better and reveal its tonal characteristics. This is a classic heavy Les Paul Standard - it weighs a little over 9 pounds. In terms of specs, everything is as it should be - a typical standard, mahogany + maple top, mahogany neck as well, and true, genuine Les Paul character. The instrument is in almost perfect condition, despite its 9-year age. The wood is excellently played-in, and cosmetically it is almost ideal, with very faint signs of careful use - everything is clearly visible in the photos. Raw Power в переводе — «необузданная мощь», «неукрощенная сила» вроде того, имеется в виду конечно же что деревяха идет практически в ее первозданном голом виде, в натуральном цвете лишь с тонким прозрачным слоем нитро-лака. И это чувствуется в звуке -дерево «дышит», резонирует свободно. Мое личное мнение, такое покрытие позволяет дереву лучше раскрыться и проявить свои тональные характеристики. Это классический тяжелый Les Paul Standard — весит чуть больше 9 фунтов. По характеристикам все как и должно быть — типичный стандарт, красное дерево + кленовый топ, гриф также из красного дерева и настоящий подлинный Лес Половский характер. Инструмент в практически идеальном состоянии, не смотря на его 9-летний возраст. Деревяха отлично разыграна, а в косметическом плане — практически идеал, очень слабые следы аккуратного пользования — все хорошо видно по фото. Никаких проблем или нюансов, все в полнейшем порядке.
