G&L USA Custom Creations Legacy Maple Top This guitar was a special order from the G&L Custom Shop, which exclusively makes their finest, custom instruments. The instrument was ordered in 2014 and cost the customer about $2200. The guitar is in ideal, new condition. It was not really played, it is still like from a showcase. It comes in its original case with all documentation, including a certificate of authenticity and a specification sheet from the Custom Shop (G&L Custom Creations), which you can also see in the photo at the link below. Also included are adjustment tools for the truss rod and bridge, a tremolo arm, and case keys. Everything is exactly in the same state as when the instrument left the factory less than a year ago. This G&L Legacy received a swamp ash body, a select tiger maple top (the masters literally sort through dozens of pieces of maple to pick two symmetrical pieces for the finished instrument), a matte lacquer finish on the neck for comfortable playing, and an incredibly deep and rich transparent blue color on the body with an expressive tiger top. The ash back also looks just magnificent under the blue lacquer; the clear and expressive wood grain adds even more depth to the color. I repeat - the guitar cost the customer about $2200, and it is still new.
