One of the first deluxes to receive a very rich configuration - ASH body (and ash Fenders are still usually $200-300 more expensive than alder ones), LSR roller nut, balanced 2-point tremolo with cast saddles, TBX tone circuit (one knob adds/cuts treble and bass just like an active preamp), and Lace Sensor pickups, specifically matched perfectly for the Plus Deluxe model: - Lace Sensor Blue, with a stronger output than Gold, a character similar to a Gibson P90, which provides a thick and warm sound on clean, and tight and even on overdrive - in the neck - Lace Sensor Silver, a fat pickup with a 70s style sound, higher output and boosted mids - in the middle position - Lace Sensor Red, the hottest pickup of all Lace Sensors - perfectly suited for the bridge position. Provides a fat and strong humbucker sound, with a powerful and expressive delivery.
