G&L USA Custom Creations Asat Hollowbody Fullerton Red This guitar was a custom order from the G&L Custom Shop, which exclusively makes their best, bespoke instruments. The guitar was ordered in 2012 and is still in perfect, practically new factory condition; the protective factory film has not even been removed from the pickguard. It comes in its original case with all documentation, including the certificate of authenticity and the spec sheet from the Custom Shop (G&L Custom Creations), which you can also see in the photo at the link below. Also included are the truss rod and bridge adjustment tools and the case keys. The guitar comes in its original case, which is also in perfect condition. The guitar is semi-hollow (like a Fender Thinline), with a swamp ash body, a color called "Fullerton Red", natural binding, a maple neck with a vintage tint, and proprietary G&L pickups of their own design. Interestingly, the Fullerton Red color has a bit of history behind it, because the G&L factory and Custom Shop are located in the city of Fullerton, California, a factory that previously belonged to the Fender corporation.
