The first thing that is shocking is the realization that the birds on this guitar are made of natural stone - black onyx, and the outline of the birds is made of pure white gold! You can just hang the guitar on the wall like a painting. From an art perspective, it is simply something else! You should also add the beauty of the selected maple tops on both sides. The sound is, of course, beyond praise and unique, especially with these specs. We have, in principle, a classic hollow body with an ebony fretboard, while also having a piezo. Plenty of air, balanced frequency response. Everything is perfect. A nice addition is that these are PRS Archtop pickups - the kind they used to install on archtops (extremely rare guitars). The wood itself is the best selected at the factory in the sound laboratory, the sustain is infinite, it resonates like no other. The dynamics are equally cool on the first and last frets of the neck. The PRS Hollowbody II Piezo has the same electronics scheme as the P22, Custom 24 piezo, which makes the guitar mega-versatile!!! It has two outputs - mix and piezo, which can work simultaneously both during recording and during live playing at a rehearsal or at home. For example, you can plug one cable into the piezo output and directly into a sound card, and a second cable into the mix input and into a head or combo amp that will be mic'd, set it to clean - this way two channels of clean sound will be recorded at once - piezo and magnetic pickups - it will be mega-fat! Let me remind you that the iron switch will switch positions piezo-piezo+pickups-pickups, the 3-way switch is standard neck-both pickups-bridge, also a tone and volume knob, and an upper knob with which you can blend the piezo mix into the pickups! You can dial in absolutely any sound on the guitar. As for me, this is the best hollowbody guitar in the world today! No Gibson ES-335, ES-339... even comes close. IMHO! And it also has a piezo! It fits perfectly in the hand, like all PRS guitars. The ergonomics are super. Very light, just a couple of kilos!
