1975 Fender Stratocaster Vintage Natural

1975 Fender Stratocaster Vintage Natural - looks rough, some would say like a "piece of a table")) but damn it, this is a classic, comrades! I plugged it in - and heard that very Strat sound of old Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Deep Purple recordings... currently the strings are set slightly higher than standard, but this gives more sustain, which is felt veeery well on the neck! The guitar even has the original '75 documents) I was stunned when I saw them! And the case is also original and preserved perfectly! In terms of sound - there is plenty of glass, the ash and maple do their job, the attack is excellent, all notes are readable. Strumming is just gorgeous - it sounds punchy and meaty with the right balance of lows and mids. The appearance is excellent for its 40 years, there are some small scuffs, but overall the guitar can be said to be in collector condition. Do not compare Strats before '76 with the later '78, '79 years - they are different even structurally. Naturally, the earlier ones are the most expensive and desirable. Here is a nice review of a similar Strat To me, vintage is significantly more interesting than all modern production guitars and even some custom shops. Because they sound! A guitar from the best times, when Jimi Hendrix, Richie Blackmore, David Gilmour and a whole host of other most famous guitarists played them.
