ESP SCR 6 Stephen Carpenter Signature Custom Shop Japan This is an extremely rare guitar globally, and even more so in the CIS, I have simply not encountered them. This is a Custom Shop version (i.e., identical one-to-one) to the one used by lead guitarist and founder of the band Deftones, Stephen Carpenter. 6-string models of this series are no longer produced. They were made for only about 2 years, from 2001-2002, and were sold with a price tag of about $2500 in the USA. From the specifications, the following should be highlighted: body - 1-piece alder neck-through-body - 3-piece maple fretboard - ebony 24 jumbo frets scale length - 25.5 inches nut width - 42 mm bridge - Tune-o-matic string-through-body The original pickups were replaced with EMG ones, due to the fact that Stephen himself later switched specifically to EMG! The following set was professionally installed with a push-pull pot: EMG 89 bridge EMG HA middle EMG SA neck The guitar growls, produces hellish meat, yet the clean sound is just as excellent, without loss of attack, without muddiness. Everything is precise, readable, and most importantly, sits perfectly in the mix! Regarding condition - there are dings and scratches, slight wear, but it is quite logical for its age, nothing supernatural. The guitar comes with its original branded case!
