I have used this guitar for studio recordings and live performances; these guitars sound excellent on clean settings, beyond all praise. What can I say regarding the difference between Hollowbody I and Hollowbody II? It is simple, here theory supports practice: on the first hollowbody there is one top, and the back and rims are made of mahogany; on the second there are two tops on both sides and, well, a mahogany rim. Maple, as you know, gives more treble, and that is how it turned out, the HBII sounds brighter than the first one. That is probably all, the thickness of the bodies is the same, I listened to two guitars through the same amplifier with the same Elixir strings - the difference is that this Hollowbody has about 15 percent more treble in the frequency response by ear. The guitar looks like a violin, the classic tobacco color and F-holes on both sides perfectly complement its appearance; in addition, both the back and the top of the guitar have a beautiful 10 TOP - a more expensive factory option (+ 20% to the price on this guitar), judge for yourself from the photo, it is gorgeous, clear flamed maple stripes! Я на этой гитаре и записывался в студии, и выступал с концертами, эти гитары на клине звучат превосходно, выше всех похвал. Что я скажу касательно отличия между Hollowbody I и Hollowbody II? Все просто, тут теория подкрепляет практику, на первом холоубади один топ, а зад с обечайками из махагони, на втором - два топа с двух сторон ну и махагони обечайка. Клен, как известно, дает больше верха, так и получилось, HBII звучит более ярко чем первый. Пожалуй это все, толщина дек одинаковая, я слушал две гиатры в один аппарат с одними и теми же струнами Elixir - отличие в том, что этот Hollowbody имеет в частотке процентов на 15 больше верха на слух. Гитара выглядит как скрипка, классический табачный цвет и F-hole с двух сторон идеально дполняют ее внешний вид, кроме того, и зад и топ гитары имеет красивый топ 10 TOP - более дорогая опция завода ( + 20 % к цене на данной гитаре), сами судите по фото, он шикарен, четкие пламенные полосы клена! Про цену гитары я вообще молчу... цена нового HBII 10 Top = 5600 в США, бу примерно 3,5 в США и стоят... а эта уже тут и доставка без проблем куда угодно! Датчики - PRS McCarty Archtop Колки из палисандра в цвет грифа, птички, вся красота прс.... собственно, как обычно! Даже кейс такой же - кожанный по форме гитары. 3-х позиционник и тон с громкостью - все работает, как часы. Для любителей банок - находка, ничего лишнего, красиво и звучит! Чес на ней и джаз звучат шикарно, даже митол поиграл, благодаря второму топу даже в пониженном строе звучит ярко и уверенно. Гитара в хорошем состоянии на свои 16 лет, есть несколько отметинок, еле заметных, если очень придираться, но ничего брутального, гитара конечно же сделана в США. Гитара покупалась в Европе, был один владелец коллекционер, есть бумаги (см. фото) идет в комлпекте с кейсом. Я не буду слать обзоры клина PRS McCarty Hollowbody II , т.к. крутость и так ясна, я пришлю как на нем играют джент и метал, чтоб сломать устоявшиеся стереотипы! Гитара находится в Днепропетровске!
