There is nothing cooler or higher than this series! Private Stock means the best wood, rare, expensive, an individual approach to the instrument from the best master and Paul Reed Smith himself. Every Private Stock instrument is a work of art! And for me personally, this is my most expensive guitar in all 5 years of my work in stock. This 2010 PRS Private Stock Singlecut SC 245 was custom-made in 2010 under number 2820. The guitar has been preserved in new condition, so one can safely call it New Old Stock or simply collector condition. The point of such wood is its expensiveness and rarity, because, for example, Madagascar rosewood is valued more than even Brazilian, and korina, obeche and ebony even more so, because they are extremely rare and available only in PRS Private Stock editions, unlike the Brazilian rosewood, which is sometimes found in limited editions. First of all, of course, the guitar is of value to collectors, because it is perhaps the only PRS Private Stock currently in real stock in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan... in general, the CIS, and of course the only one in the world with its specifications. Also, the guitar may be interesting to famous artists, guitarists, because it really costs a lot, although with all this I set the minimum price tag on it, such a guitar custom-ordered costs more than 10 000 $ (this can be easily verified by writing a request to a PRS dealer with the same specifications). The guitar is interesting for its extremely light weight, despite the fact that it does not have internal chambers. The wood is selected as the best possible and the lightest, the guitar is like a feather, weighs just over 3 kg. At the same time, it has a mind-blowing sustain from the neck to the body. When I received it, I immediately recorded a video on GoPro 4 Hero with the sustain duration, even without a separate audio track recording, and the sound from the small built-in microphone in the camera makes it clear how cool this instrument is, this is actually that video The guitar has a pair of covered 59/09 pickups, which is essentially the 1959 Gibson Les Paul sound in pickups, but several times cooler due to the wood and exclusivity. In the combination of African ebony and pickups, we get a very strong clanking attack in the bridge and neck, while in dropped tunings and with thick strings, the guitar's sound is assembled and each note is clear and tasty. I, as a fan of heavy music, alternative, will say that I have not had a better singlecut. This one is simply perfect for metal and rock, even PRS Artist and PRS Tremonti are smoking on the sidelines, and before that I considered them the most metal singlecuts! The beauty of the guitar is indescribable in words, we tried to make photos that most correspond to all the beauty of the guitar, and I think we succeeded. The guitar is wonderful down to every bolt - everything in it is observed perfectly without fanaticism. So the tuner buttons are made of African ebony in the color of the fretboard, the headstock is made in the same way. The birds are only with an outline without internal details - for lovers of minimalism and neatness, the eagle on the Private Stock headstock is made in the same style. The korina wood on the neck is perfectly matched even with the obeche body wood (both woods are African). The guitar color is Violet but it is not purely purple, but I would say with shades of grey Charcoal Burst or something close to that. The beauty of the top cannot be described, it is perfectly even with frequently repeating lines, the most beautiful top of all the guitars I have had. On the guitar headstock below the serial number, the exact production date is indicated - 8.30.2010 - August 30, 2010, there is also the signature of the master and Paul Reed Smith himself. Also on the back cover there is another Paul Reed Smith signature with the same marker, specially signed separately. The guitar sounds worth its money and more, describing the sound in detail is stupid, come listen, it is divine - crystalline delicious clean on the neck, powerful saturated overdrive in the bridge, even rhythm playing sounds very great due to the wood and attack. As I wrote above, the guitar is in new condition! It comes with absolutely all documents and papers, adjustment tools, spare bolts, of course, the PRS Private Stock certificate and the most expensive case in the PRS Private Stock line.
