2009 PRS Standard 22 Employee Satin Vintage Mahogany Employee - a PRS made for a PRS company employee. This is not a production-line PRS and it cannot be ordered; sometimes factory workers sell their guitars, which is the only way to buy an Employee model. As you can understand, the workers get the best wood, all available options including those from Private Stock, etc., etc. This guitar is in a satin finish. The body and neck are made of figured selected solid mahogany (very beautiful selected wood grain), the fretboard is of selected Indian rosewood with Outline Abalone Birds - natural abalone birds along the edge. The guitar also features a stoptail bridge and nickel hardware. The neck profile is a custom thin one (!) - such a profile is not available for this model (wide thin). Pickups are the classics - Dragon 2 pickups with a three-way selector switch, push-pull for humbucker coil-splitting on the tone control, and a volume knob. Color: Vintage Mahogany. The guitar sounds open, the wood breathes and resonates perfectly. I really love wood without lacquer; a guitar with such a finish sounds somehow special, tasty, and possesses expensive tonal delicacies. The Standard has a very juicy low end and midrange, a sound with guts! Resilient, with a moderate attack. The guitar is definitely made and sounds better than production-line standards (I have tried about 10 of them), leaning towards Private Stock quality, yet I am selling it for pennies. Гитара единственная в мире, сзади головы написано имя для кого гитара была сделана, а также стоит подпись Пола Рид Смита (это же подтверждают документы). Гитара как для той, что без лака, сохранилась в хорошем состоянии, есть некторые потертости, но ничего брутального. Идет в комплекте с родным кейсом, документами, ключами и запасными запчастями.
