So, returning to what I have written many times, electronics (pickups) and the guitar neck with fretboard affect the sound the most. The body affects external beauty more - in this case it is beyond praise, because the custom color is veeeeery beautiful, and the 10-class top is artist grade from the Wood Library of the PRS factory. 85/15 pickups are some of the most transparent and bright pickups PRS has today, considering they are open - they give evil in the bridge and transparency and warmth in the neck, and they have glassiness on split coils but with tasty lows. And of course, the signature PRS midrange in all positions. Since this is a custom order with a maple neck - the guitar sounds brighter than a serial Custom 24 Piezo or the old P22 and P24. There is a huge plus - the Lanceolaria fretboard - personally, the sound reminded me of Brazilian rosewood shades, softening high notes and glassiness, adding some velvet to the sound. And it's not for nothing, by the way... after searching for info about this wood for a long time, I found out that it is a very rare Southeast Asian rosewood - Dalbergia lanceolaria - coming from a small tree in Laos. I love the sound of the piezo and neck mix - combined with these new pickups - it's poison, comrades! The tremolo holds tuning perfectly, the new patented system is many times better than old tremolos on PRS, perhaps the best I've held in my hands so far. The guitar is weight-balanced, it fits perfectly in the hands. It looks gorgeous, and the flame on the neck is especially pleasing! I think the new owner of the guitar will be happy to have such a baby in their collection! Highly recommended!
