The guitar is in new condition, like NOS. Naturally, this guitar is unique in its specifications and is the only one in the world! The Prickly Pear color was reproduced for the first time on this guitar - this is a singlet - prickly pear - a type of cactus. All wood is hand-selected; among the unique features are Red/Orange Spiney birds, a neck made of Figured Peruvian Mahogany, a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, and many other bonuses and features. The top of the guitar is very voluminous, deep, just like its sound! The guitar body is made of one solid piece of mahogany, and what is very important in the model, the body thickness is like the McCarty, thicker than on a Custom, and the maple top is slightly thicker than on a Custom - 20.8mm (0.82 inches) (on a Custom - 20mm). This gives the guitar that very authentic fat sound! The Brazilian rosewood fretboard gives juicy overtones, the guitar neck is light, like the African mahogany body, and it has distinct stripes, figurativeness, which is VERY rarely found, and this is one of the options that were paid extra for, as are the matching maple backplates on the back and the Brazilian rosewood tuner buttons, as well as the custom case. The guitar, like all PRSs, fits perfectly in the hand, has perfect balancing of the neck and body, is light and very beautiful. The birds are perfectly matched to the orange spots of the top, as is the eagle on the headstock. The electronics switches make it mega-versatile, thanks to them you can use, for example, a single-coil from the neck and a humbucker in the bridge, and vice versa, both single-coils, each separately, as well as humbuckers, thus there are 8 sound options, like on the PRS 408 and Signature Limited, but on the Paul's Guitar both pickups are the same. The guitar is, in principle, conceived as a studio and concert option, with unnecessary lows and highs cut out. These are this type of mini-humbuckers, if you know what that is, you will understand what it is about; they do not have ultra-high gain and have their own spectrum and unique sound. Paul's Guitar can be found 95% of the time only with a fixed bridge, but Paul Reed Smith himself plays exactly this one with a tremolo; this is an option available in Private Stock only, which is actually used here!
