1997 Fender American Standard Precision EMG A solid 1997 American Fender Precision. The instrument will soon be 20 years old. The original pickups were replaced with active EMG USA ones, the battery is inserted from the back, and everything is done VERY neatly and beautifully. Strap locks were also installed on the bass, and the locks are included. Otherwise, everything is original. Including the original case and all documents. The instrument is excellently played in and has already fully found its true sound, while at the same time it is in excellent condition, fret wear is minimal (nothing rings or crackles anywhere, the frets will last for many years to come before they need to be replaced), and there are no problems in terms of structural or functional integrity. In terms of playability, the bass is perfect. And cosmetically, as can be seen in the photos, there are no problems. Just a couple of small marks in the lacquer, 4 small holes on the back of the headstock near the E tuning peg (apparently a Hipshot detuner was installed there, which was removed and the original tuning peg was put back). It must be said that with EMG pickups this Precision really rocks. The Precision model has its followers, but many find them rather dull and indistinct, it is a matter of taste of course, however, the EMG pickups in this case completely solve this problem, for all its density the bass has also become very expressive and legible, with a more powerful output. Родные датчики в нем поменяли на активные EMG USA, батарейка вставляется сзади, все сделано ОЧЕНЬ аккуратно и красиво. Также на бас поставили стреп-локи, замки идут в комплекте. В остальном все родное. Включая родной кейс и все документы. Инструмент отлично разыгран и уже полностью обрел свое истинное звучание, хоть в то же время он в отличном состоянии, износ на ладах минимальный (ничего нигде не звенит и не трещит лады прослужат еще долгие годы перед тем как их нужно будет менять), никаких проблем в плане структурной или функциональной целостности. В рабочем плане бас идеален. Да и в косметическом, как видно по фото, проблем нет. Лишь пара маленьких отметинок в лаке, 4 маленькие дырочки сзади на пере около колка E (видимо там стоял Hiphot детюнер который сняли и поставили назад родной колок). Надо сказать со звукоснимателями EMG этот Precision действительно качает. Модель Precision имеет своих почитателей, но многим они приходятся довольно глуховатыми и невнятными, дело вкуса конечно, однако датчики EMG в данном случае полностью решают эту проблему, при всей своей плотности бас еще и стал очень выразительным и читаемым, с более мощной подачей.
