Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling USA Pearl Blue Bass The bass guitar is made of select ash with a maple neck and a rosewood fretboard. It looks very beautiful in this color, a deep blue. The sound is incredibly versatile, like on all MMs. The bass guitar sits perfectly in the mix, exactly in its place. Ergonomically, the bass is simply perfect — the neck is fabulous, very fast and comfortable across the entire range. Everything is perfectly balanced both in terms of sound and comfort. For those familiar with Stingrays but not with Sterlings, I will explain the difference between these two bass guitars in a nutshell. In sound: Sterlings have slightly different electronics and pickups with ceramic magnets, whereas recent Stingrays have Alnico, because of this (partly due to the bass shape as well) the Sterling has a sound more pronounced in the lower mid-range, with a bit more growl. The output level is also higher than that of a Stingray. In ergonomics — the Sterling body is smaller, the neck has a more refined, fast and comfortable profile. The bass has a couple of repaired chips, see photos. The guitar has a black pickguard installed, if you want the original white one - no problem - we will swap it. Звук крутится всевозможный, как на всех ММ. Бас-гитара великолепно сидит в миксе, ровно на своем месте. Эргономически бас выполнен просто идеально — гриф просто сказочный, очень быстрый и удобный на всем диапазоне. Все великолепно сбалансировано как по звуку так и по удобству. Кто знаком со Stingray-ми и не знаком со Sterling-ми, в двух словах объясню разницу этих двух бас-гитар. В звуке: на стерлингах стоит немного другая электроника и датчики с керамическими магнитами, в то время как на последних стингреях стоят алнико, из-за этого (отчасти из-за формы баса тоже) у стерлинга звук более ярко выражен в диапазоне нижней середине, немного больше рыка. Уровень выходного сигнала также выше, нежели у стингрея. В эргономике — дека стерлинга меньше, гриф имеет более утонченный скоростной и удобный профиль.
