2017 PRS MC 594 McCarty Soapbar Charcoal Burst Limited Edition NEW Absolutely NEW direct from the PRS factory, limited edition - essentially the same McCarty 594, but with top-tier soapbar pickups. Detailed info on the model here - http://www.prsguitars.com/index.php/electrics/core/mccarty_594_soapbar_2017 Hand on heart, I will say honestly - the guitar will not be as versatile as the MC594 with humbuckers (since they have coil splits), but people who love the vintage sound à la P90 will be blown away by how much the sound characteristics of the soapbars have been improved! The guitar has its own sound character; it is definitely a must-have that will replace your Gibson with soapbars, which you will immediately want to get rid of. There is no excess noise, every note is readable both in chords and in solos; the sound and output of the pickups are so diversely adjustable with tone and volume that you can get both a growling humbucker sound on the bridge and piercing glass; by rolling off the tone, you can get a colossal vintage sound; playing with a slide on such a sound transports you to the 50s, but you are holding a high-end instrument of indescribable beauty in your hands! I have played the guitar for a long time, compared it with a Gibson with P90 and P100; the latter were lackluster and lost two or three times over in terms of sound quality, its evenness, and character; the sustain of the PRS wood is also better than even a vintage instrument; in general, only pluses. New Pattern Vintage neck carve profile, has the same width as the Pattern Regular, but is thicker from front to back, it is asymmetrically designed - less massive on the treble string side, meatier on the bass side. By feel, this is the thickest PRS neck today, and also, as a quite logical consequence - this neck has the most sustain. У гитары свой характер звука, это однозначно мастхэв, который заменит ваш гибсон с соапбарами, который вам сразу захочется слить. Нет лишних шумов, каждая нотка читается как в аккорде так и в соло, звук, выхлоп звукоснимателей на столько разнообразно регулируется тоном и громкостью, что можно получить как рычащий хамбакерный звук на бридже, так и стреляющее стекло, убрав тон можно получить колосальнейший винтажный звук, играя со слайдером на таком звуке вообще переносишься в 50-е, но только в руках у тебя хай-эндовый инструмент неописуемой красоты! Я долго играл на гитаре, сравнивал ее с гибсоном с п90 и п100, последние потухли причем раза в два а то три проиграли по качеству звуку, его ровности и характерности, сустейн дерева ПРС также лучше даже винтажного инструмента, вобщем-то одни плюсы. PRS доработали Seymour Duncan Soapbar до идеала, за что им спасибо, продолжают радовать и следят за качеством, так что даже вот такие по сути хоть лимитрированные, но серийные гитары звучат на уровне дорогих Private Stock, тем самым более доступны, нет развечто персанолизации и уникального подхода, а так гитары просто огонь!!! Перемещенный на верхний рог (как на ЛП) 3-позиционный переключатель - для тех кто привык к ЛП переключателю вверху, но хочет гитару формы суперстрата. Новый профиль грифа Pattern Vintage neck carve, имеет ту же ширину, что и Pattern Regular, но от переда до зада более толстый, он ассиметрично спроэектирован - на стороне тонких струн менее массивный, с басовой стороны - более мясистый. По ощущениям это самый толстый гриф PRS на сегодня, а также, как вполне логиченое следствие - этот гриф имеет наибольший сустейн. Запилы делать на этой гитаре не особо выйдет, но жирнющие ноты высекать... это как раз для нее. Как любитель толстых грифов заявляю его одним из любымх на сегодня! Это правда гриф "с яйцами"!
