PRS Private Stock DGT “Birds of a Feather” Semi-Hollow Guitar of the Month - April 2016 NEW DGT (David Grissom Trem) is a vintage guitar in every detail and sound. The guitar is created based on the PRS McCarty, but has its own neck profile, taller frets (for larger string gauges), unique pickups made only for this model, and a unique control knob configuration. And now multiply all this by the Private Stock quality and uniqueness, coolness in everything. This series is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Private Stock PRS. A total of 20 such guitars were made for PRS dealers, and one of them is offered for sale at LadkorGuitars. The guitar neck profile is somewhere between the Pattern/Wide Fat and a Pattern Regular/Regular profiles, like David Grissom's. The tall frets allow 11-12 gauge string sets to sound perfectly, the tone comes out quite "muscular". The pickups' sound is deep and open. The guitar has 2 volume knobs, which is very convenient like on Gibsons, as well as a push-pull on the tone - with coil-splits for single-coils - thanks to them the guitar becomes quite versatile.
