The most advanced and coolest of the MM production basses - black color, roasted maple neck, one-piece select ash body and two (!) humbuckers! The instrument is made in the USA. The Special differs from older StingRays primarily by its neck, forearm contour on the body, updated pickups and electronics. It is more mid-focused than its predecessors, has stainless steel frets, 18-volt electronics (active-passive), a very pleasant-to-the-touch neck, now more stable in tuning, lightweight hardware, and easier access for truss rod adjustment. Suitable for any style of music, sounds excellent. Cuts through the sound, fits into the mix. Includes case, documentation, tags, adjustment tools.
