Most of our favorite rock and metal songs were recorded on a Gibson Les Paul Custom. If we move away from emotions, it is worth noting the good period of guitar building for the Gibson company from 1982 to the 90s. Specifically, the body on Customs began to be made from a one-piece mahogany back with a 3-piece maple top, and for practicality, it was slightly lightened, because it was very difficult to withstand a 3-hour concert with 50s-70s Gibsons, although compared to the 70s it was not lightened all that much... I didn't notice a big difference. The neck began to be made as it was in 1968 - from one piece of mahogany. The fretboard is ebony, not Richlite like on the new Customs! The guitar sounds very cool, all frequencies are in place, nothing stands out, the characteristic Gibson "chwacking" and nasality is present! Absolutely everything in the guitar is original: frets (minimal wear for its age), beautiful wine finish with nickel hardware, tuning keys, the pickups are also original, even the factory stickers remain on the mounting rings. The guitar is in excellent condition, especially for its age! It is perfectly set up and stays in tune perfectly! It comes with the original "chainsaw" case and the truss rod adjustment tool. The guitar is over 30 years old, it is considered vintage and its price will grow every year. Nowadays, these guitars are rarely found in good condition with everything original; they are often found in the USA with repaired headstocks for 2200-2500, and in original configuration for no less than 3000 excluding shipping, if you get lucky.
