I put it up for sale because I am not recording music currently, I play live more, I have other guitars for recording, and this one has just been lying idle for over a year. This guitar has been my personal one for over 3 years, I played more than one concert on it and recorded several studio songs, including one ballad from the Pulse Of Scream album - Thy Light - it is on the web, you can evaluate the sound. I took care of the guitar at home, wiped it with polish and looked after the neck - I lubricated the fretboard with lemon oil; for a long time it was my only and favorite one, but it is time for it to find a new home, where it will be used for its intended purpose more often than just standing idle in a closet at home. So I will give it away only into good hands! And another thing - when I was choosing the guitar I wanted specifically in the color of a violin, viola, in general, a vintage style with cutaways and necessarily with a piezo and one maple top - I found this, currently such guitars are a great rarity, as before, price tags even on eBay go up to 5000 dollars in the USA without shipping! The guitar is in ideal condition - it has no chips, I bought it quite expensively at the time in the USA, here in Ukraine such a guitar in a shop cost a fortune - about 6000$ and not for the first Hollowbody, but for the second, which are cheaper in principle (they have two maple tops). My choice fell precisely on the first Hollowbody due to the fact that the body had one maple top and a tasty low end was obtained, Hollowbody II are brighter in sound and have more treble. Naturally, I wanted a piezo with two outputs, but there was no PRS P22 yet, and I needed a guitar for light music, although when it arrived - I plugged it in and realized that it sounds very decent even when playing heavy music - despite the empty body - it does not feed back. I did not recall the PRS P22 by accident, as the PRS Hollowbody has the same electronics scheme, which makes the guitar mega-versatile!!! It has two outputs - mix and piezo, which can work simultaneously both during recording and during live playing at a rehearsal or at home. Thus, one can plug one cable into the piezo output and into the sound card directly, and the second cable into the mix input and into a head or combo, which will be miked, set this to clean - in this way two channels of clean sound will be recorded at once - piezo and magnetic pickup - it will be mega-fat! Let me remind you that the iron switch will toggle the positions piezo-piezo+pickups-pickups, the 3-way switch is standard neck-two pickups-bridge, also a tone and volume knob, and the upper knob which can be used to blend the piezo mix to the pickups! You can dial in absolutely any sound on this guitar. As for me - this is the best hollowbody guitar in the world today! No Gibson ES-335, ES-339... compare to it. IMHO! And it also has a piezo! Guitar specs: Mahogany body and sides Maple top Mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard 22 frets, fixed ADJUSTABLE BRIDGE - a very important thing!!! Pay attention - it is extremely rare for PRS Locking tuners, the knobs of which are made of rosewood (!!!) of the second generation with bolt-clamps at the top Hardware mix - nickel + gold plating. This is something similar to the Artist Package, the guitar case by its shape and as in Artist editions is leather with the corresponding upholstery inside! The guitar sounds masterful! Выставил по причине того, что сейчас не записываю музыку, больше играю вживую, имею другие гитары для записи, а эта пока просто лежит без дела уже больше года. Эта гитара была моей личной более 3 лет, я отыграл на ней не один концерт и записал несколько студийных песен, включая одну балладу из альбома Pulse Of Scream - Твой Свет - она есть в сети, можете оценить звукан. Гитару берег дома, протирал полиролем и ухаживал за грифом - самзывал лимонным маслом накладку, долго время она была единственной и любимой, но пора ей найти новый дом, где ее будут использовать по назначению чаще, чем просто простаивание в шкафу дома. Так что отдам толкьо в хорошие руки! А и еще - когда выбирал гитару хотел именно в цвете скрипки, виолы, в общем винтажный стиль с вырезами и обязательно с пьезой и одним кленовым топом - я это нашел, сейчас такие гитары большая редкость, как и раньше, ценники даже на ибее доходят до 5000 долларов в США без доставки! Гитара в идеальном состоянии - на ней нет сколов, покупал ее довольно дорого в свое время в США, у нас в Украине такая стоила в магазе вообще космос - около 6000 $ причем не за первый холоубади, а за второй, которые дешевле впринципе (у них два кленовых топа). Мой выбор пал именно на первый холоубади из-за того, что дека была с одним кленовым топом и получился вкусный низ, Hollowbody II более яркие по звуку и верхастые. Естественно хотелось пьезу с двумя выходами, но тогда небыло PRS P22 еще, да и нужна была гитара для нетяжелой музыки, хотя, когда она приехала - я включил и понял что она очень нехило звучит и при игре тяжелой музыки - не смотря на пустую деку - она не заводится. Я не случайно вспомнил PRS P22, т.к. PRS Hollowbody имеет ту же схему электроники, что делает гитару мегауниверсальной!!! У нее два выхода - микс и пьезо, которые могут работать одновременно как на записи, так и при живой игре на репетиции или дома. Так, Можно включить один кабель в пьезо выход и в звуковую карту напрямую, а второй кабель в микс вход и в голову или комбик, который будет сниматься микрофоном, поставить это на клин - таким образом будет писаться сразу два канала чистого звука - пьезо и датчиковый - будет мегажЫр! Напомню, что железный свитч будет переключать позиции пьезо-пьезо+датчики-датчики, 3-позиционник стандартно нэк-два дачтика-бридж, также ручка тона и громкости , и верхняя ручка которой можно подмешивать микс пьезо к датчикам! На гитаре можно нарулить абсолютно любой звук. Как по мне - это лучшая пустотелая гитара на сегодня в мире! Никакие Gibson ES-335, ES-339,... рядом не лежали. ИМХО! Да и еще и пьеза! Спеки гитары: Дека и обечайки из махагони Кленовый топ Гриф из махагони с накладкой из палисандра 22 лада, фиксированный РЕГУЛИРУЕМЫЙ БРИДЖ - очень важная вещь!!! Обратите внимание - он бывает крайне редко у ПРС Локовые колки, ручки которых сделаны из палисандра (!!!) второго поколения с зажимами-болтами вверху Фурнитура микс - никель + позолота. Это нечто схожее с Artist Package, кейс у гитары по форме и как в артист изданиях кожанный с соответсвующей обивкой внутри! Гитара звучит шедеврально! Посмотрите обзоры в инете, например этот Это форма синглката и немного не то внешне, но звук схож, и главное тут показано как легко сразу с перегруза все переходит в акустический звук!!!
