PRS Private Stock 24 Fret McCarty Singlecut Trem Guitar of the Month - September 2016 NEW An extremely exclusive instrument, made for Carlos Santana in the PRS Private Stock anniversary edition line. Based on a 24.5" scale length, 24 frets, and a tremolo on a singlecut, Gold Leaf finish with 25-30 pieces of 23-karat gold. The guitar is new, located in a PRS warehouse in the USA, price includes delivery to your hands! Inspired by a special instrument made for Carlos Santana, the Private Stock September Guitar of the Month is a 24-Fret McCarty Singlecut Trem. The classic Santana/PRS combination of a 24.5” scale length, 24 frets, and a tremolo bridge live on here, and just like Santana’s personal axe, the September Guitar of the Month features a “custom wound” 58/15 treble pickup, which is wound a little hotter for a bit more power in the bridge position. The September 24-Fret McCarty Singlecut Trem models are finished in Gold Leaf with a high-gloss nitro top coat. Each piece of Gold Leaf is applied by hand by Private Stock Director, Paul Miles. Each piece of Gold Leaf is approximately 3” by 3”. Each instrument has 25-30 pieces of 23k Gold Leaf per top. Only twenty of these instruments will be made for September 2016, commemorating Private Stock’s 20th Anniversary. The original Guitars of the Month were cased between December 1994 and March 1996. They provided the opportunity to experiment with new ideas and led directly to the creation of the Private Stock program, with the first “official” Private Stock instrument casing on April 19, 1996.
