What distinguishes it from ordinary LPCs is the insane sustain due to the old wood, as well as the soft velvety low end thanks to the mahogany neck. Every note is clear, and, of course, the signature vintage "chug" of the Les Paul is present. The guitar is in ideal condition, especially for its age. There is only one mark on the back of the neck reaching the wood - that is all. I bought it in the USA in a large store, and based on their word, I convey that everything in the guitar is original except: pickup ring covers replaced from black to white (black can also be installed), the plastic tip of the 3-position switch replaced, volume knobs replaced with new-type cylindrical ones. So, the only things in the guitar that are not original are some plastic parts that simply deteriorate with time. Otherwise everything is original - pickups, potentiometers, wood, finish, frets (by the way, they have an excellent amount of life left, despite the fact that the guitar is 43 years old), tuners that hold tune, etc. Even the original case has been preserved in ideal condition!!!
