Just like before, the PRS tremolo holds tune fantastically; a plus is that the block, screws, and string saddles were left uncoated, which contributed to better sustain and tone accuracy. The birds are made of beautiful natural abalone. And hybrid hardware with gold and nickel, perfectly matching this guitar top. The guitar neck itself is also maple, selected specifically by pattern and color to match the top, and the back of the guitar is natural-colored select figured mahogany, perfectly matching and highlighting the beauty of the guitar. And the case is like a Private Stock one, only with a black design; inside, the case is like vintage Fender and Gibson ones, blue and made of the same fabric. The case alone would probably cost about 500 bucks ))) In general, the approach to this guitar and Artist Package is very serious. Everything is perfect! Regarding the sound, I will say that the guitar is saturated with delicious overtones; it has both a meaty humbucker sound and single-coil glass on coil splits, which very well complements the maple neck. The sound is very transparent, clear, collected; you can hear every note even when playing just a chord. The sustain is just insane, even though the guitar has a tremolo, it sounds the same as guitars with a fixed bridge; the sustain is not lost! When split on clean, you can achieve an aggressive attack, and the beautiful funky strumming will not leave anyone indifferent! Both pickups are not muddy, there are "balls," especially evident when playing through Mesa Boogie amps; I personally love this duo and recommend it to everyone. In a mix with these monsters, these guitars open up completely in all spectrums. The guitar also sounds rocking through my Marshall AFD100. At least I played through these two amps and each revealed the guitar in its own interesting way, which means it has its own charm. In general, 85/15 and 58/15 are currently the most transparent and collected pickups from PRS; they can only be compared with 57/08 and 59/09, but 58/15 are still more transparent. Because 85/15 are open, they sound more aggressive than the covered 58/15. One could write about the guitar for a very long time, savoring its sound like expensive whiskey, but it is better to come visit to listen, touch, and compare with other PRS guitars.
