A very solid instrument, made of solid maple (like Music Man guitars, for example), the neck is made of Rock Maple (i.e., 'hard maple' or 'sugar maple') — provides very good brightness and clarity. The body features a figured tiger maple top in an amber color. The humbucker/single-coil/single-coil pickup combination makes this instrument suitable for any style of music, by and large. The humbucker provides definition and clarity with overdrive, while the neck and middle single-coils provide a warm and clean sound; combined with the maple, the guitar truly possesses a very singing 'bell-like' sound, moderately bright, and a very warm instrument. Condition — excellent. A couple of VERY small dings in the transparent lacquer layer, but no dents, impacts, or cracks — everything is clearly visible in the photos at the link below. You simply cannot find a better American instrument for this price.
