1996 Jackson DK1 Dinky USA Select Elite Maple Top Purple Burst The production period for this model was from 1996 to 1998. The Dinky DK1 model was not produced between 1999 and 2001. In 2002, Jackson resumed production of the DK1 guitars, but with noticeably changed specifications. This model is often called the Dinky Elite because of its "rich" appearance and mother-of-pearl logo/markers, but it is more accurate to call it the 1996-1998 model Dinky DK1 with a maple top. The guitar is extremely rare, as is the color; they are found in the USA for $1600 to $3000.
