1991 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop Hall Of Fame Deluxe Pre Historic R6 1956 Reissue A rare limited edition guitar from '91, when the quality of LPs was excellent. The guitar does not need artificial aging, as it already has it naturally - the gold finish has turned slightly greenish in places, there are small spiderwebs in the lacquer, a few dings on the body, it has the look of a real vintage Les Paul. A guitar with the Hall Of Fame series name speaks for itself - Hall of Fame! The guitar has a one-piece mahogany body, maple top, one-piece mahogany neck with a medium thickness '59-type profile, and a rosewood fretboard with mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays. About 200 guitars of this series were made in total. Their collector value grows every year. An unusual occurrence for this Deluxe series are the P90 pickups; I found only one similar guitar here - http://www.frettedamericana.com/product/1991-gibson-les-paul-standard - whether it was a special order of a couple of guitars in the series, or the mini-humbuckers were replaced with P90s later. Gibson support replied to me just as they did to the guys in the link, that they could very well have installed P90s at the factory. Гитаре не нужны искуственные состаренности, на ней это уже и так есть и естественным путем - позолота местами стала с зеленцой, есть мелкие паутинки в лаке, немного коцек по копусу, вид настоящего винтажного Лес Пола. Гитара с названием серии Hall Of Fame - говорит сама за себя - зал славы! Гитара имеет однокусковый деку из махагони, кленовый топ, однокусковый гриф из махагони средней толщины типа 59 профиля и палисандровую накладку с перламутровыми трапециями. Всего было сделано около 200 гитар этой серии. Их коллекционная цена растет каждый год. Необычное явление для этой серии Deluxe - звукосниматели P90, я нашел всего одну подобную гитару тут - http://www.frettedamericana.com/product/1991-gibson-les-paul-standard , то ли это был спец заказ из пары гитар в серии, то ли минихамбакеры были заменены позже на P90.
