Built around the familiar Custom 24 foundation, the SE Custom 24-08 retains everything players love about the model — a Maple top, Mahogany back, Ebony fingerboard, 24 frets, 25" scale length, PRS bird inlays and the PRS patented tremolo — while adding significantly more tonal flexibility. At the heart of the guitar are a matched pair of PRS TCI “S” pickups, designed to cover everything from articulate, spanky single-coil sounds to full, powerful humbucker tones. Two individual mini-toggle coil-tap switches allow each pickup to be split independently, giving you eight different pickup configurations. That makes the SE Custom 24-08 an exceptionally flexible instrument.
