A very cool guitarist, composer, who plays the best guitars - PRS only =) This guitar is a custom order and one of only one in the world - it is an Artist Package, essentially the same guitar as Mark Tremonti's own, custom-made with a solid rosewood neck and a fingerboard of rare Brazilian rosewood, the most expensive type allowed for sale only in the USA. Everything the best was taken for this guitar; it's no wonder its recommended price in the USA is 8000 $. I will start in order... Appearance: The guitar's appearance is best described by the photos... it is one of the deepest quilt tops I have ever seen! The color itself is fire, a gradual transition to a dark burst, but not black, the entire structure of the wood is visible, and this is all continued by a stunning neck made of a solid piece of rosewood, with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard on top, which has a peculiar pattern, the birds are two-level and made of the best natural mother-of-pearl - the birds themselves are complemented by a thin line different from the core of the pattern, as if combining old-school birds and PRS outline birds. Black pickup covers, the pickups themselves are a new, more modern form factor. The tuners are made of Brazilian rosewood to match the color of the fingerboard. The beauty is completed by the Paul Reed Smith logo on the headstock, it is also made of the coolest natural mother-of-pearl from the bottom of the ocean. Comfort: I don't think it's worth telling everyone again that PRS SC (singlecut) guitars are significantly more comfortable for playing than Les Pauls; access to all frets is very convenient up to the 22nd fret. The PRS Tremonti signature is that rare case when a singlecut has a thin Pattern Thin neck! Even more rarity in this case is added by the fact that this thin neck is completely made of rosewood, because all rosewood necks are only thick, and also with a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. I personally don't use the tremolo, and it doesn't bother me on this guitar, my hand sits just right on the favorite 25-inch scale, however, I will say that the tremolo is one of the best, the tuning does not drift at all even after active use, the bridge works in both directions, so there is minimal effort, this is not a Floyd for you! Of course, everything is made comfortably for the right hand, the milling of the body is admirable, like on any PRS. 4 knobs like on an LP - two volumes, two tones for each pickup and a 3-way switch give maximum comfort when switching from one pickup to another, you can make a "killswitch" with the knobs, like on an LP... in general, everything is by the feng shui! Sound: one could write here for a very long time... If you have seen my review of the stock PRS Tremonti, then it is clear that the guitar is very versatile, both clean and with overdrive. The rosewood neck added more delicious overtones in the lows to the sound and a velvetiness, the Brazilian rosewood added a certain elasticity to the sound. Thus, in the neck position, the guitar has a warm tube tone with pronounced lows and mids on clean, and highs with mids in the bridge, the guitar sounds as if with a piezo, like an acoustic, it's amazing..., and with overdrives the guitar sounds elastic, collected, modern in both pickup positions. In the neck, there is a veeery warm sound, and in the bridge, there is just wild meat, the sustain is just endless, can only be compared with my PRS Singlecut Private Stock. The huge tone step on both pickups I really liked - from clarity to such wild mud that I have never even heard on any guitar, apparently the rosewood adds this, besides the pickups. The guitar's sustain is incredibly long and simply endless, even without plugging the PRS into a combo amp, you can understand and hear this by playing a couple of chords or notes - the neck simply gives a huge attack into the hand, then transfers into the body and lasts a very long time. The quality of the wood is top-notch! In addition, a distinctive feature of this model is that it is made without any weight relief (holes and cavities), everything is made according to the Pre-Lawsuit SingleCut canon, when they were full-bodied. The guitar is in perfect condition, practically new! It comes with a full set of all documents, spare parts, tremolo arm, stickers, adjustment tools, original Artist case with leather trim, etc. everything as from the factory!
