An American Fender limited edition, but with an all-rosewood neck. I cannot write about this guitar objectively, for a simple reason - I adore rosewood necks, I have two PRSs with rosewood necks and one of them is a Private Stock. I would keep the Tele for myself, but I already have three. A rosewood neck is made of dense wood, so it is not particularly affected by changes in humidity, temperature... it holds tune better than mahogany and maple, it lies in the hand more comfortably and pleasantly because you are holding wood without lacquer, only lubricated with special oil during the production stage, they have more sustain and open sound, more midrange and velvet bass, while retaining the 'glass' in the single-coil pickups... in general, there are simply no downsides to a rosewood neck. And when I found out about the limited edition Fender Rosewood - of course, I immediately grabbed one guitar for myself back in '16, earlier these were American Standards, now - American Professionals, and I haven't regretted it for a moment. A very high-quality instrument, and this is an American, yes it does not have super-expensive locking tuners, but it holds tune well even without them, and the deciding factor was that the neck is entirely rosewood, this is an American Tele, it has some of the best Fender pickups, an improved streamlined Tele shape and a gorgeous color - minty Surf Green - most beautiful, it is this color that I associate most with Fenders Telecasters. The guitar has both juicy bass and cutting midrange and 'glass', no noise, everything plays in tune, the electronics work like clockwork... well, the guitar itself is new and it is pleasant both to play it and just look at it.
