A very successful combination, Gibson Dirty Fingers humbuckers are some of the most powerful passive pickups in existence, and while preserving the vintage character of the sound, they provide a very clear attack and powerful sustain. The guitar is semi-hollow, so while possessing the bright midrange inherent to semi-acoustics, thanks to the solid base of the body there is no unwanted hum, and a dense midrange and low end are preserved. The guitar is professionally aged, but only in terms of cosmetics. Moreover, not only the lacquer is aged, but all components as well - the cast bridge, tuners, pickup covers.
