G&L American Legacy Strat

American G&L (George Fullerton & Leo Fender) Legacy Strat (not to be confused with Korean G&L Tribute) A magnificent, unique Strat from G&L USA, a company whose creations Leo Fender himself called 'the best guitars he ever made in his entire life', in a fairly rare 'Vintage White' color combination with a cream pickguard and a matching headstock (which is a custom option). The guitar is in completely original condition with the exception of the bridge pickup – a hot double 'rail' from Seymour Duncan has been installed there, which sounds great with overdrive. Otherwise, everything is original, including the tremolo arm, original case, all documents and certificates. The Sperzel tuners, as I was told, were most likely on the guitar originally, since, again, most of G&L's production is made exclusively to order, so in general it would not be surprising if it were ordered specifically with Sperzel. The instrument is in almost perfect condition; there is one barely noticeable dent in the lacquer near the input jack – there is a photo at the link below – I took a close-up of it, and even in the photo it is barely visible. Anyone who has ever played these guitars, I am sure, will never be indifferent. Because it was into the G&L brand that Leo Fender himself put all his knowledge and experience, and he himself considered these guitars significantly superior to Fender products in both quality and sound. G&L guitars are made in much smaller quantities, with incredible attention to detail, at the former Fender factory (which now belongs to G&L) in Fullerton, California, and are among the best American guitars today. In addition, a very large part of its production is made by G&L exclusively to order or in limited editions, and almost every one of their guitars is a real work of art.
