The Suhr Hombre is a new combo introduced in 2020 that captures the classic Brownface tones that inspired John Suhr from his earliest days of playing guitar. The intention was clear: to create a modern take on these classic models while preserving the vintage legacy. Signal path purity is the main goal of the Hombre. As a result, the playing experience becomes incredibly dynamic and touch-sensitive. A simple turn of the volume and tone controls will give you a stunning range of sound. The clean tones are classic, gorgeous, and bell-like, but make no mistake, this amplifier also has an excellent overdrive, evoking the tones of the 1970s Texas blues-rock era. The onboard Dynamic Tube Bias tremolo delivers an unmistakably rich, sought-after sound.
