In general, visually, the guitar is ideal in my opinion, especially for this model - a natural back with a beautiful mahogany grain, the figure of the maple top, and of course the color, which transitions from blue to black and has a blue binding on the top. This is one of the first PRS series - CE (Classic Electric) - it was available since 1988 and was produced until the mid-2000s, but its production was later discontinued (at that time, they had crescent moons in 95% of cases). In 2016, at the NAMM show, it was brought back and presented in a new light. Now it does not have 22 and 24 options, there are only 24 frets and a tremolo now, however, the guitar is equipped with the same pickups as the PRS Custom 24 (85/15), which costs 2 times more, the wood is essentially the same, but the neck is maple, and the rest is the same: rosewood fingerboard, mahogany body with a maple top, but it has a bolt-on neck and it is a thin Pattern Thin profile, and the electronics are standard, just like on the Customs - volume, push-pull on the tone for coil splitting, and a 3-way switch. Considering the price tag for a new guitar, it is simply ideal in this segment, a little more expensive than an S2, but already a true American with birds.
