In a milestone move, PRS Guitars has named its very first Chief Executive Officer, appointing Jack Higginbotham to the role.

Now, stepping away from the COO position, he officially makes history as the first person to hold the CEO title at PRS.

It comes as no surprise that Jack Higginbotham emerged as the top candidate. Over his 41-year tenure, he has been deeply involved in major PRS innovations, helping launch defining products like the Silver Sky and the popular SE Series.

He was also pivotal in collaborating directly with John Mayer during the development of the SE Silver Sky model range.

However, despite the historic nature of the update, players shouldn't expect any massive operational disruption. Instead, this represents a natural organizational evolution designed to preserve stability rather than reinvent existing successes.
